What cookies are
Cookies and similar browser technologies are small pieces of data used to keep websites working, recognise a signed-in session, remember limited preferences, secure requests and understand whether a feature is functioning. This policy should be read with the Star4books Privacy Policy.
Necessary technologies
Star4books uses technologies that are necessary for sign-in, authentication, security, payment hand-off, fraud prevention, routing and reliable service operation. Because these are required to provide a requested feature, disabling them may stop account, booking, payment or dashboard functions from working.
Connected services
- ChatGPT sign-in may use authentication cookies or tokens to identify the signed-in user.
- Paystack may set or read technologies when secure checkout is opened; Star4books does not receive your full card details.
- Spotify embeds or profile features may communicate with Spotify and may be governed by Spotify’s own cookie and privacy notices.
- Infrastructure and security providers may process request or device signals needed to deliver and protect the site.
Analytics and advertising
Star4books does not currently use cookies to sell personal information or run third-party behavioural advertising. If non-essential analytics or advertising technologies are introduced later, this policy and any required consent controls will be updated before they are used.
Your controls
You can use browser settings to view, block or delete cookies and site data. Blocking all cookies may sign you out or prevent secure features from completing. Settings and terminology differ by browser and device, so consult the browser’s help menu for current instructions.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy when technology, connected providers or legal obligations change. Questions may be sent to info@star4books.com.
